Event Details
Philippine International Comics Festival 2026 is happening on July 10 to 12 at Ayala Malls The 30th, Pasig, bringing together comic creators, artists, and fans for a celebration of storytelling and visual art. It is a great space to discover new works and support both rising and established names in the local and international comics scene.
One of the highlights is the launch of TABLAY by Katrina Olan and Paul Medalla, an official selection of the festival. The story follows a maverick mech pilot, a visionary engineer, and a controversial war hero as their paths collide during a final stand against the Aswangs. As secrets behind a century old war and the creation of a powerful weapon called Bakunawa come to light, they are forced to confront the truth before everything falls apart. Another featured selection is Doobedoo Asks by Bambi Eloriaga Amago and Roland Amago, adding more to explore during the event.
This year’s edition is free and an open festival featuring Filipino creators, publishers, and international guests from Southeast Asia, Australia, and Japan. Highlights include the PICOF Official Selection exhibit, the 100th centenary tribute to National Artist Larry Alcala, and Japan as this yearโs Country of Highlight featuring the SINTA exhibit celebrating Queer, BL, and GL creators. Visitors can also enjoy comic launches, artist battles, panel readings, and masterclasses throughout the event.
