Event Details
Fiestang Kuliat 2026 brings Angeles City to life with a mix of religious traditions, Kapampangan culture, heritage activities, and lively community gatherings. The celebration includes several important religious observances, beginning with the Feast of the Guardian Angels at Holy Rosary Parish Church, also known as Pisamban Maragul, in early October. The mid October Fiestang La Naval follows with a Mass and procession honoring the Blessed Virgin of the Holy Rosary, while the Feast of Apung Mamacalulu brings devotees together for a dawn Mass at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Apung Mamacalulu later in the month.
For a more energetic side of the celebration, Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan (TTKD) takes over the streets of Balibago on October 23 and 24. The popular street party features live bands, dancing, and food booths, with the event carrying a special connection to Angeles City’s story of rebuilding and resilience after the 1991 Mount Pinatubo eruption. Vendors and concessionaires planning to join can register from September 28 to October 9, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the TTKD Sales Office on 46 Taguete Avenue, Barangay Cutcut.
Visitors can also experience a quieter side of Fiestang Kuliat through Cultural Nights and Sulyap Sining, featuring open stage heritage performances, rondalla music, and regional dances around the Angeles City Heritage District and Plaza Anghel. Heritage and culinary tours add another local touch, with guided walks around historic places such as Pamintuan Mansion and old founder houses, followed by traditional activities at Museo Ning Angeles such as making putong babi or enjoying tsokolate de batirol. These experiences offer a closer look at the traditions and everyday flavors that have shaped Angeles City beyond its better known nightlife.
