Event Details
The 47th Camiguin Lanzones Festival runs from October 18 to 25, 2026, with festival preludes beginning on October 15. Held in Mambajao, the celebration gives thanks for another fruitful lanzones harvest while showcasing the traditions, creativity, and warm hospitality that make Camiguin a favorite destination in Northern Mindanao. The festival also gives visitors a chance to experience the island beyond its beaches and natural attractions, right at the heart of its harvest season.
The weeklong celebration brings together harvest thanksgiving, cultural street dancing, pageantry, concerts, and agri tourism exhibits featuring the island’s agricultural products. One of the highlights this year is Camiguin’s first ever 300 drone light show, adding a modern spectacle to a festival rooted in the island’s farming traditions. For food lovers, the event is also a good opportunity to taste fresh lanzones and discover local products that reflect Camiguin’s agricultural character.
For visitors, the Lanzones Festival is a lively time to explore Mambajao while the island celebrates its signature fruit. Beyond the main program, the festival atmosphere offers a glimpse into everyday Camiguin life, from farmers and local producers to performers and community groups taking part in the festivities. It is also worth setting aside time to explore the island’s nearby hot springs, waterfalls, churches, and volcanic landscapes, making the festival a natural starting point for a wider Camiguin trip.
