Tabak Festival 2026 returns to Tabaco City, Albay on June 24, celebrating the cityโs rich history, culture, and thriving local industries. The festival takes its name from the word tabak, which means bolo, a symbol closely tied to Tabacoโs well known blade making craftsmanship and the hardworking spirit of its people.
One of the biggest highlights is the vibrant street dancing parade, where local government units, schools, and community groups fill the streets with colorful performances and festive energy. Visitors can also catch the popular Mutya ng Tabak beauty pageant and the lively Tabakla LGBTQ+ pageant, both of which draw strong local support every year.
The celebration also features cultural shows, padyak or tricycle races, sibidan or canoe races, and evening cultural programs that showcase local talent. With its mix of heritage, entertainment, and community pride, Tabak Festival remains one of Albayโs most anticipated June celebrations.
